REVIEW: Patrick Thomas PACKED The Living Room

I finally was able to see Patrick Thomas live at The Living Room after hearing his album a few weeks ago, and I was glad I did! He brought an interchanging band with keys, trumpet, drums, and various guitars and singers, including Todd Martin and Lisa Piccirillo. He opened with a very upbeat “City of Sin” that remended me of bands that I heard walking along Beale Street in Memphis a few years ago.
Other standout tracks included “Here’s To You”, “Spring Street Baby”, “Fire Escape”, and the fifth track, which may have been called “Best Get Away”. I have never been to a gig where the musician was more appreciative of the crowd, which included friends and family all the way from Chicago and Detroit. At the end of the set, he thanked the packed house for making his dream come true of playing The Living Room. Well, if it were up to this reviewer, he would be asked back to The Living Room many times over.

I went to the show and it was amazing! I’ve been waiting two years to see Patrick live again! Patrick is one of my favorite performers to see live. His music always makes me want to clap my hands and stomp my feet. :o)

I was at that show, the energy from the crowd and Patrick’s performance was just right to create an awesome show!

I agree, that was one of the most entertaining shows i’ve seen in a very long time. It was refreshing to see a musician be so humble about the amount of people he drew in. His energy and smile throughout the entire show kept us locked in! He’s the real thing and I look forward to hearing more Patrick Thomas LIVE!
